My name is Janelle Rittenhouse. I have 3 children and have been married to my high school sweetheart for 28 years. We are rejoicing over our first grandbaby born in May of 2021 and are anticipating our second grandbaby in August 2022! I am certified as a birth doula as well as a postpartum doula. I have always loved babies and have cared for newborns in my home during the years that I homeschooled my children. Becoming a doula has been such a natural fit for me. I started my doula journey after a visit to my daughter’s midwife appointment. After she had suggested I become a doula so I would have no trouble being allowed at the birth, I looked into getting certified. I became certified through International Doula Institute and loved learning all I could about labor, birth, and the newborn. I am so honored to be a part of this very special time in your life as you welcome a new life into this world. One of the greatest miracles is the miracle of life, one that the Lord God created in His image, and it is such a blessing to share in this miracle with you.
